Bin Xu
Bin Xu has been a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering School of The University of Oklahoma since 2021. He has both B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Automotive Engineering from Hunan University, China, 2017 and from Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR), South Carolina, 2017, respectively. After graduation, he worked as a Postdoc at CU-ICAR, Visiting Research Scientist at Stanford University, and Research Assistant Professor at CU-ICAR between 2017 and 2021. He is the director of OU Mobility Intelligence Lab (MiLa). His research is primarily in the field of Autonomous Driving, Embodied AI, Physical AI, End-to-End Learning, Reinforcement Learning, SAE Level 4 Robotaxi, Autonomous Vehicle Closed-Course/ On-Road Testing. He is currently serving as an Associate Editor for the journal of SAE International Journal of Electrified Vehicles and is a member in SAE Sustainable Mobility Committee.
